Request for Nominations for Salt Pond Board Vacancies

Annual Meeting

The 2007 annual meeting of the Salt Pond Homeowners Association will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2007 from 2 to 4 pm at Lord Baltimore Elementary School on Route 26 in Ocean View, Delaware. This meeting will include an election of Board members, Board and Committee reports, an update on the status of the transition of common areas to SPHA, information on the Salt Pond Plaza development, and a question and answer period. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. Note that the date and location of annual meeting has changed from the original notice published in the January newsletter.

Nominations

In preparation for the upcoming election, the Salt Pond Board is seeking candidates to run for the Board. This letter serves as a formal call for nominations for three (3) Board positions. The three positions are for three (3) years.

If you are interested in serving, please submit your name, lot number or Salt Pond address, phone number, and a short biography by Monday , April 30, 2007. Please include pertinent information related to your qualifications, including prior service on Salt Pond Committees, the Salt Pond Board, or other comparable experience.

Please Remember: Board members should be available to attend monthly Board meetings. Currently, these meetings are normally held the third Friday of the month at 2 pm. Meetings usually last three to four hours. Board Members are expected to take on various tasks, which require a substantial Time Commitment.
